Jean Cummins had a stroke on Thursday morning. Her granddaughter took her to the hospital in Grass Valley. There it was determined that there was no lasting effects from the stroke and that she would be able to return home after a careful observation period…
It is finaly over. That was a fast 16 weeks for Inez and I. Too fast. I made some progress on my BFA show for next fall. A few kinks are ironed out and a few new wrinkles were introduced. Over all good progress was made. Our finals week went rather well. It had been such a great help to us to have Mark and Kim here. There were some very long days spent in the clay lab working. the 1st summer term starts in a couple days. Inez is taking Painting with me and She is also taking Ceramics I. That should be alot of fun for her and I. The kids are doing alright. I think we are all gearing up for summer and the endless possibilities it will present 😉
Today we are going to Draper to attend the baptism of one of Ryan Mose’s girls. We are looking forward to it.
Now that the semester is over I will make a better attempt to post more often on our goings ons.
The new semester started and I didn’t take the time to write that “Catch-up” Post I wanted to. Oh well. When I get some time on my hands and don’t use it for other stuff, I will put down all that has been going on with us.
The week of birthdays is in full swing. Inez and I are going over to our friends, The Hamby’s for dinner tonight, Matthew is an excellent cook and will be surprising us with his culinary delights. Last night Matthew brought “The Dark Knight” over and we watched it upstairs on the bigger screen. It was a very enjoyable movie and I had a good time with Matthew watching it. There were some pretty intense moments in the film. Last semester went very well for Inez and I and this semester promises to do the same. I am now working at the school as a lab tech, in the ceramics lab.
Well I need to get going and get ready to leave for the Hamby’s.
